Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of www.spotme.com, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be sent to a Google server and shortened within the US. The use of cookies is based on your consent; Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can find detailled information about the used cookies and how to revoke your consent at any time here. The legality of the data processing until the revocation remains unaffected. • Facebook
We have embedded the Facebook pixel of Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”) on our website. The Facebook pixel is a snippet of JavaScript code that loads a collection of functions that allow Facebook to track the actions of website users if they have come to our website via respective service provider ads. For example, when you purchase a product on our website, the Facebook pixel is triggered and stores your actions on our website in respective cookies. These cookies enable Facebook to match your user data (customer data such as IP address, user ID) with the data of your Facebook account.

Then Facebook deletes this data again. The collected data is anonymous and not visible to us and can only be used in the context of ad placements. If you yourself have a Facebook account and are logged in there, the visit to our website is automatically assigned to your Facebook user account. We want to show our services or products only to those people who are really interested in them. With the help of the Facebook marketing pixel, our advertising measures can be better tailored to your wishes and interests. In this way, Facebook users (provided they have allowed the use of cookies required for personalized advertising) see suitable advertising. In addition, Facebook uses the collected data for analysis purposes and its own advertisements.

The storage of Facebook cookies and thus the use of the Facebook pixel is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time by deactivating the corresponding Facebook cookies. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The cookies that are set by embedding the Facebook pixel as well as the possibility of deactivating these cookies can be found here.

Facebook processes the data generated via cookies via the US parent company on servers in the USA. The conclusion of EU standard contractual clauses between the Facebook group companies and a prior transfer impact assessment provide sufficient guarantees within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR. For more information on the collection and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

  • Vimeo
We embed videos on our website via the provider Vimeo, Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 1001, USA (“Vimeo”). This results – for technical reasons – in calls to the Vimeo servers. The legal basis for the integration of the Vimeo videos and the associated transmission of personal data to Vimeo, Inc. is for users of these Internet pages who are in the process of initiating a contract with us, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. For other users, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR is the legal basis for the transmission of the technically necessary data to Vimeo. We have concluded the EU standard contractual clauses with Vimeo in the so-called “controller to con-troller” variant. As further protective measures, we generally embed videos with Vimeo in the “Do Not Track” variant, so that personal data is only transmitted to Vimeo in a necessary manner. In addition, Vimeo has committed to continue to comply with the self-imposed obligations from the former so-called Privacy Shield agreement. This ensures an appropriate level of data protection for the transfer of data to the USA within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR.

Vimeo uses cookies for statistic reasons. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR). Further information on the cookies used by Vimeo as well as the option to revoke your consent can be found here. The legality of the data processing until the revocation remains unaffected.

  • YouTube
Our website embeds videos from YouTube. The operator of YouTube is Google Ireland Limited (“YouTube”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

As soon as you start a YouTube video via the website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. In the process, the YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, YouTube can save various cookies on your end device after starting a video. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to the website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience and prevent fraud attempts. Cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them. Further information on the cookies used by YouTube as well as the option to revoke your consent can be found here. The information generated by a cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transmitted to a Google LLC server in the USA and stored there. Google processes the data in the USA on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses and thus offers sufficient guarantees within the meaning of Art. 46 (1), (2) c) DSGVO.

If applicable, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no influence. The use of YouTube is based on your consent to YouTube (e.g. consent to store cookies), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. For more information about data protection at YouTube, please see their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
