When will reopenings for large gatherings happen (i.e. when will COVID-19 event bans be lifted)? Or in other words, when will countries and states allow large gatherings of people again?
Now that the shock of the COVID-19 crisis is somewhat subsiding (and stay at home orders for much of the world look to be lifted or relaxed), people, teams, and businesses are starting to plan for what is ahead. What will the reopening look like?
And the event industry is no different.
In fact, we see a lot of data being published around when people think or estimate when large gatherings will be allowed again.
But we thought there needed to be a source of truth on reopenings for large gatherings.
So, we thought about how we could provide some unbiased and useful information to help the industry plan for the future. And help people answer the question: when will large events be allowed again.
And we came up with this.
A simple Google Sheet, that we will aim to keep as up-to-date as possible (daily, for the most part). We will let you know when a specific line of information has been updated, with a “Last date of research” column.
Here is the sheet.
Right now, it includes information on COVID-19 event bans for the following countries and states:
Europe
- France
- Finland
- Germany
- Norway
- UK
